Valiant Theatre and Lounge is a brand new live performance theatre located in the Old Arabi Cultural Arts District. That’s one block past Jackson Barracks and about 30 feet outside of New Orleans – a 10 minute drive from the French Quarter. Since opening in November of 2016, our 120 seat black box theatre has hosted dozens of events, everything from plays, musicals, comedy shows, to jazz, hip-hop and burlesque. In fact, we got burlesque legalized in St Bernard Parish, which is pretty awesome. Our theatre is complimented by a beautiful cocktail lounge which is open 6 days a week. The lounge hosts events of its own, typically music, including a weekly jazz jam session every Tuesday night. In the coming months we’ve got Oleanna by David Mamet, Big Deal Burlesque with Roxie LeRouge, Crescent Lotus Dance Studio’s The Ghostly Cotillion, a horror-burlesque parody called Steven King’s ‘Tit’, and so much more.
