The Satellite Center in St. Charles Parish is a career and professional training school in which interested high schoolers from the area can spend part of their day participating in hands-on activities with career professionals and artists. We’re part of the New Tech Network, an incredible educational foundation and philosophy that focuses on building the skills necessary to become an engaged and empathetic citizen. We focus on Agency and Collaboration; therefore, our students are often working professionally on outside projects before they graduate and enter the workforce/university. Our mission is to immerse all team members in a learning environment that fosters personal growth and future success. We provide a focus on college and career readiness, students concentrate on specific content related to the course, as well as soft skills such as collaboration, critical thinking, communication skills, and work ethic. A strong partnership with business and industry provides our students the opportunity to interact with industry experts as they use their skills and experiences to make important contributions to the world, solving problems, and making an impact on their community as they move to the next phase of their lives.
