Rau for Art Foundation (RFA) supports arts appreciation and education in the schools of Greater New Orleans by assisting talented young artists in reaching their academic and professional goals. We do this through our two primary programs, the Art Scholarship Competition and the Teacher Assistance Fund, both of which serve students and teachers in the following Louisiana Parishes: Orleans, Jefferson, Plaquemines, St. Bernand, St. Tammany and St. Charles.
RFA was founded by M.S. Rau in 2012 in honor of the gallery’s 100th year of business, with the goal of nurturing future artists in the region and sharing our gratitude with the community that has allowed us to continue to grow since 1912. More at www.rauforart.com.
