Muggivan School of Irish Dance

Are you interested in learning about the art of Irish dance? Does your child have an interest in dancing and performing? Muggivan School of Irish Dance in New Orleans offers classes and camps to kids of all ages to teach them about Irish dance! Our classes provide the space for dancers to learn this beautiful art form, which teaches great techniques and skills, all while they are having fun and dancing! We have classes for ages 3 and up as well as Beginner camps throughout the year for new and beginner dancers. Our Beginner camps are open to dancers registered for our school as well as to kids who have never attended an Irish dance class before and are not registered for our classes. We also offer performance opportunities that are open to all of our registered dancers no matter what their dance level is!

Join us for a free 1st class to try out our school before signing up! We offer a free 1st class for all new students and we love having kids come to a class and see what Irish dancing is all about. Please contact us or fill out our free 1st class form on our website (www.muggivanirishdance.com) to receive information about our schedule and classes.

In addition to our classes and camps, we offer ceilis throughout the year to give everyone a chance to come to our studio and experience an Irish dance party! A ceili is an Irish dance party with dancing, mingling, music, and food. You do not have to know how to Irish dance to attend a ceili and everyone is welcome to join in and participate! Irish dancing is an art form with a rich history and culture surrounding it. We want everyone to have a chance to learn about this and to get to experience it first hand. Please keep an eye on our Facebook page (Muggivan School of Irish Dance) for updates on when our next ceili will be. We hope to see you at our studio soon!
