Since 1978, Jefferson Performing Arts has been bringing Broadway-caliber entertainment to Jefferson Parish. Founded by Dennis Assaf, JPA is where artists and musicians find a creative home, young performers discover and nurture their talents, and audiences experience exciting theatrical productions featuring live music. JPA is where our community gathers to enjoy the arts at their very best.
Our 49th season at the Jefferson Performing Arts Center and the newly refurbished Westwego Performing Arts Theatre features beloved classics like Les Misérables, My Fair Lady, and Sweeney Todd, alongside modern favorites including Come From Away, Anastasia, Tootsie, and more.
