Crescent City Sound Chorus is a Section 504(c)(3) non-profit organization that has been performing in the New Orleans area for many years.
We sing exciting a cappella, four-part harmony, with an emphasis on barbershop style. As part of the Sweet Adelines International organization, we compete each year at our regional competition in Houston, Texas. We qualified as one of the 5 small choruses to compete in the International Harmony Classic competition in Columbus, Ohio October 21, 2025! That’s next month!
We also teach the love of music in various formats, including schools. We support several charitable organizations, such as the American Heart Association and Cancer Crusaders, through volunteer work and contributions. The donations made to our chorus enable us to continue our work in the community and improve our musical performances. Donations provide us with additional music, coaching on vocal and performance techniques, and assistance with costs such as risers, sound equipment, and performance production expenses. In addition, donations will help us represent New Orleans and the surrounding area at the International Harmony Classic competition in October.
