Only 53 of the state’s 1,229 public schools offer access to all four fine arts disciplines, and visual art is often the first to go. LAEA is the statewide professional association fighting to change that: supporting visual arts educators from pre-K through college with curriculum, community, and advocacy so learners across every parish get real access to drawing, painting, sculpture, and design, not just the idea of it.
